Breaking news...LEJOG completed!!

On Sun (3rd July) we reached John O Groats in blazing sunshine 14 days after leaving Land's End in wind and rain! Many thanks to everyone who supported and sponsored us. Details and photos of the trip will be added asap. Then we'll start planning JOGLE!!

In the meantime have a look at our Facebook page for details on how the journey unfolded and some photos

And here's a few tour stats: 1018 miles, 0 (zero!) punctures, 84h total cycling, 60,000 kcal burned each, 2 pulverised bodies!!

Barry & Mike's Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) cycle 2011

Welcome to our website which will hopefully tell the tale of our attempt to cycle the length of mainland UK from Land's End to John O'Groats (1000 miles give or take a few wrong turns) in under 2 weeks!

Who?
Barry and Mike, two thirty-something brother-in-law doctors (one scientist-type and one real one!) from Glasgow and deepest (Kingdom of) Fife.

When?

Our plan is to ride LEJOG at the end of June and take advantage of the invariably stunning British summer weather!

Fundraising

We are raising money for a local voluntary group that runs a class for disabled people in Glasgow. Please see the Fundraising page for more details and ways to donate.
